Creating quick pages for future use

Postby Sandy L » Wed Mar 28, 2012 6:17 pm

I have recently downloaded the trial version of Studio Scrap 4 and I'm new at scrapbooking.
My question is:
I want to create a Quick Page in PNG format for later use.
That is, I want to make the frame where the photo is supposed to be placed transparent (even cutting through the background).
Is it possible and if yes, how?
Thank you in advance for your help.

It is of course possible to create a PNG format quick page.
Here's how to do it:
Create your layout
Hide the elements coming on top of the picture spaces
Add a vellum paper color that is stranger to your layout with an opacity of 100 to your picture or picture shape
Export as PNG
Open a new project of same size, only add your own previous export to full size
Use touching up tool with magic wand to select your flat color area and get rid of it, then save your action
Export again as PNG
There you have your quick page.

But you will find that the way Studio-Scrap works, unless you indeed want to publish such quick pages, you will have no need for such an artefact, since you only have to select a picture area, and change the photo in it with a single drag and drop mouse move in an existing layout.
